How many of you still hear this tune in the morning in All India Radio ?
It’s at 5.55 am and It’s been 80 years now …
From 23 July 1936 onwards it’s there…
It was composed by a Jewish musician, ” Walter Kauffman “, a refugee from Germany, who became popular for composing this signature music for All India Radio. The tune is still broadcasted as the opening sequence of AIR stations across India.
