Indian drum instruments

The drum instrument used in Anniyan – Adangkaka seems to be the one used in En Peru Meenakumari – from the movie Kandasamy ( 3:03 onwards ) I need to find out  what that instruments

From the video below, it looks like they are using Tambourine
